The all new 2012 Toyota RAV4 offers one body style, the four door compact crossover SUV body style, offering seating for up to five people. The 2012 Toyota RAV4 is available in three different trim levels, including the base level trim, the Sport level trim and the Limited level trim. Toyota offers two engine options with the 2012 Toyota RAV4, starting with the base level 2.5 liter four cylinder engine that can produce up to 179 horsepower and 172 pound feet of torque. This powertrain option offers a standard four speed automatic transmission with standard front wheel drive with an automatic limited slip differential.
The other powertrain option offered with the all new 2012 Toyota RAV4 is made up of a 3.5 liter V6 engine that puts out 269 horsepower and 246 pound feet of torque. This model offers a five speed automatic transmission with the same front wheel drive with limited slip differential.
